Can anyone tell how much time in avg does it take to grant a new arms licence in Delhi.

once submit application, police verification shall be conducted with in 30 days, after that all docs go to DM, once police verification is complete DM should either reject or approve license within 60 days. according to arms rule 2016.

Currently in Delhi, it depends upon the category you fall in. i.e. Sportsperson, Inheritance Basis, Self-Defence, etc.
You have to ensure that your application is legally sound and as per the rules.
Further, some vigilant perusal may go a long way

Thanks for reply. Mine is a inheritance case. Do u know iif delhi arms authority give 3 states licence.. like valid for Delhi UP n Haryana or Rajasthan

This is an old thread, not sure if the question got answered. When I got mine a few years ago in Haryana - you had to get it for one state first. After that once could apply for other states.
