Finally picked up the laurona from khairrudin

the laurona was pretty effective with the half choke barrel upto a distance of 20-50 yards , further than that the full choked barrel smoked the runaway clays . the front trigger fires the lower half choke barrel first than the upper choked one. the rear trigger does that in reverse order. had no misfires , no heating issues[fired 30 rounds at a stretch] the ejectors are selective and worked great[a higher shutter speed could have gotten a better shot of the one i posted above]

Really good to see your experience and snaps (loved the one with ejecting the spent cartridges).

Khairuddin manufactures thier own O/U, there was a thread on the same I think from @sa_ali with his experience and lovely snaps. Did you tried to compare Khairuddin's own o/u and your laurona from them.

What is the price markings for both.

You mentioned in your post that effective knocking distance of laurona as 20-50 yds. isn't it less for 12 bore.

range is also affected by how the shotgun patterns , the spanish guns were test fired and then according to patterns were rated for choke levels at the proof houses

Hai man, Your Gun looks great . I just got licence for DBBL . I preferred Khairrudin o/u and what price you paid for laurnona ? It isType 2:Spainish metalparts.Wood work by khairuddin u/o OR Type 3:Fully spainish Laurona u/o. Kindly guid me is very help full.

this sunday our association members had a practise session, the laurona was used by four shooters , 100 rounds, no issue with overheating, all members were happy with the patterns, balance of the gun

another practise session yesterday saw 150 rounds fired by 3 shooters in succession through the laurona, most prefer shooting the laurona cos it gives them better scores
