I want to know what dose 7.65 x 23 means.
And I converted the length of the revolver as mentioned in the official web site of IFO, to Inch and it figured out to be 7 inch, dose that mean right from the butt end till the barrel end?
Another quarry of my is - do we have to show the empty shells or even unused bullets to the shop keeper while purchasing for next round of allowed quantity.

7.65mm is the diameter of the bullet, 23 is the length of the cartridge (Casing only)

If they say Length of the revolver, they mean its length in its entirety inclusive of the barrel. The length of the barrel will probably be listed separately.

Lots of nonsense going around about showing empties to shopkeepers... apparently some states/districts have this procedure in effect. Most seem to have ignored it because of the futility of the exercise.

"7.65 mm", in this instance, is actually the diameter of the bore, not of the bullet. The "nominal" caliber designation may be bore, groove, actual bullet, or neither.
