I've come across this beautiful piece of weapon through a dealer for which i think the asking price of dealer is way too much, so i would like to inquire from our fellow IFGians about what they think should be the right price is should negotiate with the dealer, the pic that i've uploaded is not of the same weapon but the weapon is in the same mint condition.

do try to share pics of the actual gun. we've had a few surprises in the past with dealers who were prepared to do anything for money

Ramandeep,

Beretta FS 81 in .32 acp with a double stack 12 round magazine would probably be on north side of 15 L in Punjab. Just today a friend was quoted 13.25 L for a Beretta Tomcat Inox at Amritsar. Like every one else says, pictures will help.

best,

Ramandeep
beratta 81fs or any 80 series pistols are good looking pistols, but as you might know they have an
Alloy frame with a steel slide. now i'm not sure if they are as good and reliable as the steel
frame Beretta's.
Now i don't mean to hijack you topic but i do have a couple of questions for other senior IFG members,
who may have experience with 80 model. these questions may as well help you, in regards to this weapon.

1. Beretta 80 model in Alloy frame, do they have any issues in general? :?:

2. Beretta 80 model how good and storng are they? Are they as good as other full steel body models? :?:

Actually i did ask these questions to another member(an experienced member here at IFG with lots of guns )
just yesterday. could'nt help, not much experience with Beretta.
- Hope we both benifit from this topic.

cheers
Sam singh

Never heard a bad thing about the 80 series Beretta

In fact I heard a few bad things about the 92 FS, but not about the 80s..

The above pic is of the beretta 81 or 81bb, its a good weapon, extremly accurate and reliable. the only drawback is that the frame is anodised and once the anodising starts wearing off there is no way of blueing the frame of the weapon.

I have owned the beretta 81 bb for the last 5 years and am very happy with the weapon, saw a 81 fs cheetah with a dealer in Merut recently, the weapon is brand new but he is asking for 28l.

How can he sell a brand new weapon? Do you mean a gun from before 1980's which has never been fired? Not sure how anyone can sell an imported weapon which is brand new.

I read somewhere that guns on TR. can't be sold in the lifetime of the owner

What kind of permission?
I think it can only be inherited.. Can't even be sold...
