IOF speak for button rifling thus the need for a thicker barrel .A big step forward as this is in keeping with the skills or lack thereof of the IOF monke.... err...gun fitters. As Barret Obermeyer remarked,"Any fool can pull a button through a barrel." The IOF has those in the plenty.

Mr. Veeveeaar, i got the info from Dainik Jagran, Newspaper... i just reflected the data here on forum that was mentioned in the newspaper... & chances of wrong information are very very less... I was in Kanpur when Mark IV was launched, it was a great news coverage in Kanpur edition of Dainik Jagran..

@perfectionist1: Pic was there in the newspaper, i did not scan it... however my eye scan says - it's almost same :-)

Mr Smickey , Is this Dainik Jagran a hindi newspaper or a english one? . Please do some james bond work and leak the info about this markIV issue. When you told that it is a S&W thing , iam really very anxious about what these IOF XEROX MEN have done.

I wonder why range is 10 m, usually 0.32 cal is effective and accurate upto or exceeds 25 mts. including the mkiii as well.

Any lights.

Cheers....

A friend of mine has offered me to sell his IOF.32 revolver, which he purchased from Ambernath, Maharashtra during December-2005. He told me that they have not fired a single round from that revolver since he got in family heirloom policy and do not want to keep it anymore. Could someone on this forum suggest me as to which model this may be. I think this is either MK I or MK II. I would like to get a price quote also for such old handgun because my friend tells me to take it even for any meagre amount.
