If you search this forum you will find the individual experiences with IOF .32 pistol vary from good to bad. Also if the pistol is not double action then you will have to use another hand to first to rack the slide back before you can fire the first shot. When your response is expected in just a matter of seconds, this can be a very serious problem. There is a video on this website where a person was unable to fire the pistol within seconds and his attacker was able to shoot him dead.
