Got The Licence & Now The Revolver

Post by Lawman » Fri Dec 18, 2009 9:03 pm

Hi friends, my revolver/pistol (NP Bore) licence has been granted today by the District Magistrate. It was a long wait for 2½ years. At last I got it. As the waiting period of IOF Pistol is over 10 months, I’ll go for IOF Revolver.

Thanks Virendra, imported products are out of my limit for their abnormal price and they are old too. IOF products are new and they are within my budget.

Congratulations for getting THE "license". Would request you to share your experience as to what the "Licensing Authority" was doing for 2½ years  Did you do something to make the file moving?

Well you can always share that experience via video. Make a Video of your thoughts. We can use it to educate other people hoping to get a license.

Got a revolver/pistol license in KOLKATA ??? WOW !!!!! :D My heartfelt congratulation to you for making an almost impossible task possible. Really buddy how you do it I am really keen to know, are you a politician or a famous celebratiy hiding under a nick in this forum , or by any chance belongs to tata , birla, ambani or mittal family ? :D . Jokes apart you may try considering getting a ASHANI since cossipore will be within your reach and you dont have to travel a long distance or need any TL to get your pistol. Do share your experience for the license process that you face and congrats once again for getting your license that too in the most gun unfreindly city of the nation.

One more question, since it is being granted by District Magistrate and not by CP of Kolkata , I am assuming you are located at greater kolkata or 24PGS am I correct ? if yes where you are located buddy.
Thanks and Regards,
Saptarshi

Did nothing for 2½ years to chase the process for getting "license".....................you have patience of a saint!!! How did you receive the license, since you did "nothing", did you automatically receive it by registered post one fine day after 2½ years? :)
