While, Timmy's K22 is really nice, one that I have lusted after for many years is a S&W Model 41, with both barrels.
It is offered with a 5" and a 7" barrel.

Unfortunately, with a list price of $1288, I don't think I will own one in the near future.

Fortunately, there are lower priced options out there that can shoot better than I can hold them on target.
Like the Ruger competition Target model.

In India there is no yardstick for price of firearms, especially the "foreign" made. Even more than 20 year old junk is selling for lacs if it has a stamp of some foreign manufacturer. It all depends on the bargaining skills of the buyer and the willingness of the seller to agree to the price.

If its a Ruger .22 auto pistol, thats a dandy gun. One that will last a lifetime. They first made what was called the Ruger Standard pistol (sold for $37.50 in the 60's). Then came the Mark 1, followed by the Mark 2 and then the Mark 3 (current). To a certain extent parts are available, even for the oldest ones. Standard pistols are still available that can be cannibalized if need be. Magazines don't interchange between the standard and the rest. They have been made in a wide variety of barrel lengths and profiles. They are available blued and in Stainless.

Is it possible for you to post photos? That will help in identifying it and we can see whether it is genuine or not. Can't help you with price though.

Hello Xl-Target
Thanks very very much for the photograph, absolutelyfantasticlyincredible gun, stainless steel, engraved with ivory grips, absolutely mind boggling, I was staring at it for so long, my wife came over to look, then she said, Oh! Just a gun, I thought you were staring at something else.....
Thanks buddy, I wonder where the engraving was done? I'll try and locate the full length shot and put it as a my screensaver.

hvj1,
The engraving was done by Jeff Flannery.
http://www.flannerygunengraving.com/

Look at this Link. This gentleman (mm6mm6) has some exceptional single action revolvers.
He mentions his "Flannery engraved Single Six" and has the same photo posted.
Incredible eye candy!

Also look down at the bottom of that page. There is a post by Confederate who has some exceptionally clear detail photos of the Single Six.

Hello Subal Das,
Kindly show me how the pcp can be reshipped, or if you know of any agent, who can do the same for me and Dev, if he is also interested.
Regards

maybe this Bulgarian shop will send, but I'm not sure if they speak any english, and price much higher
http://shop.oragie.com/product_info.php ... cts_id=917

best would be if you can ask some friend in EU to resend it for you, you can buy and pay for the gun then CUNO MELCHER will send gun to your friend and he to you. nothing illegal.
