what sort of damage??

if its from use (holster wear) or only tiny scratches congrats you have graduated with a gun!! small scratches and dents are a manly thing LOL

I accidentally chipped some of bluing from my stoeger but am least bothered about it!!

jokes apart it really depends on what finish is the original I assume its blued.. in that case you can try some DIY bluing products from birchwood casey etc... maybe other members from india can help and be more specific

if your pistol frame is aluminium the original finish was probably anodised, an electrical process hard to duplicate in a small/home shop, the birchwood-casey "cold blue" will work on steel but not aluminium. you can paint it, but the repair will still show.
