I would be more than glad to accompany any Gentleman who wishes to proceed to London for procure this fine rifle. I only have two small requirements - a business class ticket and stay at the Savoy. Can survive on fish and chips.

Good move on getting a brochure, Nitro! Let us know if you are successful.

A]The original Mauser 98 is patented. The patent is held by Mauser of Germany. This is their web site:- http://www.mauser.com/Home.home.0.html?&L=1
B]If a purist wants original Mauser then the only choice is to buy from them only.
C] I understand that currently all custom made rifles by big old names of Britain as well of USA on M98 variations are being sourced from http://www.dumoulin-herstal.com/en/mecanisme.htm.
D] H&H is sourcing the white barrelled action with calibrated open sights from them and finishing the weapon locally in UK. It is no better than Apple making all their i-phones in Foxconn factories in China. At least the design of I-phone is original by Apple though done in China. In the instant rifle there is nothing except the brand name to justify the price tag of pound sterling 35000/-. I think the ruling politicians will find the price as no more than peanuts, if the amount of money involved in the scams is anything to go by.

Mine is celebrating it's Seventy Seventh Birthday. Though not elaborately embellished the way the commemorative is, but I am certainly not complaining.
Cheers to H&H
