Great looking rifle Fateh! One thing about a .22, when they shoot, they can really shoot! It's clear from the targets that you got one that will. Great wood, too!

That's a really nice rifle.
I am looking for a .22 for a friend now a days (in India).
How much would a rifle like that cost in the US / Cananda?

Thats cheap (for such a beautiful rifle).....
considering an IOF .22 costs twice that amount in India.

Prashant,
In the US, a synthetic stocked Savage MarkII will retail for about $189/199, with laminate stocked versions going for about $229. They also have stainless versions that cost a little more.

It was 250 plus tax thats around 13 percent over here plus 80 $ for the bipod , 160 $ for the scope and 80 $ for the base and scope rings . But under an inch grouping at 100 yards .............Priceless.
