Anyone with any experience with Ballistol.in

Post by alameinite » Tue Jul 29, 2014 4:42 pm

Hi all, just went through the various knives up for sale at this site ballistol.in. Decent collection, mainly Mtech. Has anybody dealt with them and if yes, how is the quality?

Mine is a bad one.

I had ordered a Percihole NX100 Scorpious Karbin AR. It took about 12 days to reach me and I got it without the muzzle brake. I contacted them multiple times regarding this. FInally I got directed to someone at Percihole for further queries and he never replied to my emails.

Percihole is to be blamed for this. Defective product right out of the factory.

Ditto. Plus German pellets for practice etc. Good experience.

How so ? Muzzle break is missing when the piece is purchased from the dealer, not the company. The onus and responsibility are on any dealer to return the "defective" piece to the company or up the chain in the first place and not palm it off to the final buyer. (NB: The usual disclaimer apply :-))

@farook, how does the absence of the muzzle break make the rifle a defective product?
Should it have been there since its a part of the package? Yes.
Does its absence make any difference to the functioning of the air rifle? Not really. My rifle shoots just as accurately with or without it.

Can you please explain in what context have you shared the video? Are you suggesting that the muzzle break of a 12fpe break barrel air rifle be machined/manufactured like that. I can understand the desire for a well made product, but this is pushing it too far buddy ROTFL
Not to forget that we are still discussing an entry level budget Indian made air rifle...

I not sure weather Ballistol has any of these in stocks. For the dealers I know they only help in procuring it from the factory with their commission of course. This one may be an exception I don't know but my experience with them for buying gun oil was good, it took a week or so but acceptable.

Is it defective well if this is their attitude then defective is the word I would use.

Just hope to see the above technology used in India.

If the muzzle brake was missing....it must be brought to the notice of the dealer from where it was purchased & ask them to contact Precihole & get one!
This must be an odd case....but certainly not to be made an issue of

Regarding Ballistol, my experience of purchasing Cold Bluing solution and Degreaser was quite hassle-free (in my book, online purchases should require ZERO human interaction to be called "hassle free", the term "pleasant" is for when I buy something from a human - just clarifying! ). Only issue was that the instructions are in German, and "Sie nicht spreche Deutsch"! Their site, though, has very clear instructions, in English.

As for MTech, I see these blades cropping up, typically on Indian sites or sites selling to India (Ballistol, Junglee, Flipkart, cart2india, etc.). Absolutely no idea about the quality and so on. Look to be quite economical. If any member has purchased, would request feedback.
Cheers!

I managed to get in touch with someone named Anjum at Precihole and she was very polite and helpful. The Muzzle brake got shipped the same day and I received it.

Hello!
I bought pellets and lubricants from ballistol and there was a mix-up regarding the payment, they very quickly returned the extra payment. I had contacted Preciholesports regarding and my Polaris shooting very high in spite of rear sight turned to lowest point, they contacted me several times and also sent me some pellets to try. I must say both the firms have been very professional and their services are very ethical and prompt. I have nothing but praise for them.
