My DIY ‘FS’ Blades - In SALT & PEPPER!
After my first attempt at making the FS blade an odd piece was left yet to be shaped & finished….

So went to work on it last weekend…..Got the profile & edge ground & polished & later applied ‘Ballistol’ to the blade…..

After a bit of smooth talking with my machinist friend, got the handle & guard made….fellow IFGian Kshitij helped in getting the handle anodized…..Finally fixed the handle with M-Seal!

Voila!!! My New All Black DIY FS Blade!!!!

Nothing else looked so sharp in black and white ;)
All they need now is a bespoke handmade leather sheath.

Now that one iconic blade is ticked off the list, whats next brihaji? The loveless drop point hunter? :D

Nice work there brihacharan-Ji :D

And...kshitij is absolutely the sharpest blade out there - astounding metal work, out of the box thinking combined with maximizing available resources at hand; sharing knowledge and raw material, very generously - Bravo! (y)

Those old Colonial cops, Fairbairn and Sykes, must be grinning from ear to ear in the knife maker's Valhalla. Someone actually improved on their work!

And Kshitij, would second Kalyanda on that!
Cheers!
