The quality of Indian make KF ammo in 12 bore and .22 rimfire has gone down the reason is that even fresh cartridges misfire .......this was not the case several years back , the old KF ammo was reasonably good . Is it only 12 bore and .22 or even other calibers made in the same factory like 30-06 ,.32 and .315 are facing the same issue?

These problems are due to lack of quality control. The prices are going up but the performance has not improved ,very disappointing .

Oh man glad somebody replied to my question at last. .
yes I agree with you every lot of bullets have to be checked and the prices of ammuntion is ridiculous in our country......that too these are from govt factories, they don't allow private manufacturers to make cartridges....

Shaktiman Express is a private manufacturer of 12 bore cartridges. They are better than KF. But they are only available in No1 shot. You will not find it in size smaller than no1.They also make BB,4.8 shots and various slugs.

I have been using a mix of Ammo, low velocity Elley, Stingers, hollow points and stuff. I buy KF only because its cheap and more easily available. The quality used to be above average till my NCC days, mainly because of govt channels and some feedbacks. However, I totally agree that off late, they are producing pure junk. I just wish if Shaktiman could start producing .22s too.

I did not know that because it is not avaliable in my town. When I asked the arms dealer he said that 4.8, no.1 and slugs are available. Is the Shaktiman Express No. 6 fresh lot ? If so, please post or pm some pictures. Thank You.
