I've used that exact sight. It is a good sight to learn to shoot with, or teach someone else, but all sights like that have a bad issue that if the sun is behind you it is darn near impossible to see the dot.

Hi Parag,

I have one mounted on my old HW35 (No other suitable gun to mount it on) which I hardly shoot because its really abused and old...and there's no where or time to shoot properly at useful ranges anyway :)

The BSA red dot is decent... un-magnified, which in a suitable gun makes it easy to track and follow moving targets...not that you can shoot moving targets though!! The red dot (This being an inexpensive model) is a tad bit imprecise and don't expect to be driving nails with this. Best part is you can use it with both eyes open.
Very easy and convenient to use since the light source is collimated and all you need to do is print the dot on the target and pop-pop. You can even afford to misalign your eye (Unlike a normal scope) and the dot will remain hovering over the target.

Obviously these kind of scopes along with the unmagnified feature makes them a short range expedient for most purposes other than shooting people... :mrgreen:

It is still capable of decent accuracy at short ranges.

LED brightness settings range from 0 (off) to 11- Use the lowest for low light situations or the brightness of the dot will obscure the target. In bright daylight you may have to top it off to 11 and still squint your eyes to see the dot :)

I have used it many times.. and still use it but only in video games ...
