Post by fantumfan2003 » Mon Apr 11, 2011 9:22 pm

Here they are.....

https://picasaweb.google.com/1181860107 ... hApril2011#

A BIG THANK YOU to ROHAN for the venue, to NK007 for the targets and pellets, DHRUV UNCLE for the targets and to YOU ALL for making the MFTA competition a BIG SUCCESS.

There was no doubt in our minds that everyone would like the ambience, there were some proverbial butterflies in the tummy about pulling off the whole event smoothly, but thankfully it all went of well indeed.

THANK YOU ALL

M.

PS : Also requesting everyone to upload photos you took.

As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.

Well done FF, and all the organisers and participants.

NK007, while I appreciate your efforts towards the meet, if you limit the event to only firearm license holders, where will all the beginners go? My understanding is ,these meetings sow seeds of responsible gun ownership and shooting. Will limiting the numbers not going to be counter productive to IFG ideals, particularly as most people on IFG , do not have a license?

Thank you.
