Post by fantumfan2003 » Tue Mar 01, 2011 11:40 pm

We will be having an FT meet and will be holding a match in the month of April

Date : 10th April 2011
Venue : Japaloupee near Pune
Categories : Springer and PCP airguns only

We have planned for an entrance fee of Rs. 100/- per participant. It will be a full day event.
Any suggestions are most welcome.

As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.

Hi, Fantumfan,

Will this be casual plinking type or target match? If the former, count me in.

(will need directions, though!)

Cheers!

NK

Of course I remember you.

Japaloupee is on the old highway. We have planned it for 10th April 2011, thats enough notice to plan ahead I hope.

Attendance for members like you and the other Pune members is compulsory. :-)

This time round lets see your airguns in action.

We will be shooting at metal target placed at ranges from 10mtrs to 50mtrs. Its great fun.

Thank you for the post, fantumfan2003. Please sign me up. Only .177 calibre ? A suggestion - can you change the title to "...Japaloupee, PUNE" ? That would bring in more readership from Mumbai-Pune area.

Cool - now I can get along my "tandooristi kaa raaz" - IHP .22 Springer AP. BTW, after taking the Talegaon/Dehu Rd exit and hitting the old NH4 one has to make a RIGHT, right ? And continue for the equestrian center ? Thanks a ton for the map - got a bit confused with Urse Toll marking there.

Hi fantumfan2003,

I am comparatively new to the forum, I would like to join in. Forgive me for asking, besides entry fees what other arrangements does one has to make to participate since it is going to be an all day event. One of my friends would also like to join in.
Regards,
AK49
