Well done mundaire, god bless you and Sukhpreet and all at IFG who contributed!!!
"within the calibers allowed to the civil populace i.e. so called NPB weapons import of weapons should be allowed to a license holder. the state may even charge 100% duty on the same. this shall force our so called indigenous arm industry to wake up and see the quality of their craft for which a citizen is being made to pay twice as compared to a quality firearm . the above facility even if granted to a licensee once in his lifetime shall enable us to own quality firearms which are so far the purview of our fearless leaders who are any way protected by the money i earn and pay as taxes after risking my life and limb in the terrorist haven that my country is.
Yes weapons import by license holders need to be opened up. There is no need to suggest any percentage of duty, as government is very clever, it knows how to claim its pound of flesh.
This email draft needs to be sent not only to IFG members but "each and every citizen" of our country. All should be requested to send their objections to the proposed draft by email as well as by registered/speed post. I will also email as well as send my objections to the draft by registered/speed post. I will also email to around 100 email addresses I have, and dig more email addresses of MPs/MLAs, opposition parties, civil rights organizations, media organizations, news reporters etc. I request all reading this to do the same, and if something better, nothing like it.
