Indians For Guns

Hello all !!

I have come back after a long long time;had been busy with my job..had joined only 19 months ago.

So,now that I have an income of my own,I was looking at Air Rifles..and I have come up with two:
1> Precihole Sports NX 100 0.22
2> AARMR 0.22

Now,I have come upon a lot of user reviews of NX 100,but I have't found any good comparisons.
If there's anybody who has knowledge and experience about these two rifles or others will you please post your opinion?
I don't think this has been discussed previously(I didn't find any such topic),so I decided to post here.

NX-100 is Nitro Piston Powered and requires very little maintenance and has a good trigger. Compact weighs less and easy to handle. Very accurate. But cocking effort is more. Currently the best of Indian made ARs. Comes in many configurations. Less powerful than AARMR Hurricane. But in use for a long time and all teething problems were sorted out and fixed.

AARMR is a very new company without any experience in making Air Rifles. They are still developing it. I was told that most problems except Trigger were sorted out. I have one gun from their trial production run and faced all sorts of problems. They are working on a new true 2 stage trigger and if they succeed it would take at least another 3 to 6 months to be manufactured to fit it in their guns. The current guns come with the old type trigger with a modified trigger blade ( in terms of trigger reach ) is what I think. Hurricane is a well made gun but without experience. The stock used on it is not suitable for sporting air guns. In my opinion only new comers would like it because of its looks but it is very badly designed and manufactured. Action to stock fit is extremely poor and the fore end flexes. And they are not willing to change it. I don't know about the current guns but my guns internals were lubricated with oil only and needed cleaning and proper lubrication with moly. The gun is more powerful than NX-100. Easiest to cock among Indian Springers and has a smooth firing cycle. Heavy and awkwardly balanced. Ceramic coated and requires practically no external maintenance.

Both guns have good barrels. All good quality pellets both imported and Indian fit perfectly. Both are equally accurate at 12 yards I tested. NX-100 was more accurate at 24 yrds than Hurricane. But that could be me and not the gun because the trigger on my gun is very bad and I am not comfortable with it. I am waiting for the new trigger.

I enjoy shooting my NP ORION more than any other gun.

I own both the above guns shot them a lot." And these are my personal opinions only gained from my experience with both guns".

If you want to buy one of them, handle them both and select the one which suits you better.

Even I had wished for AARMR, have gone through his post of a very detailed review (based on the test mule). Would certainly wait for the refinements.

the new trigger on my hurricane after a little TLC is better than NX100, GNV as per your test hurricane is about 13-15% tighter groups using the JSB heavy and the JSB Express @24yrds, which would improve further if the trigger works as expected.

Hello guys,
Really interested in the AARMR Hurricane and excited to hear about its power.But really, how powerful it is actually?In terms of FPS and also FPE.Could any of you guys who actually own one clarify this.Any one tried any penetration test on this gun?Say one inch hard wood at 10 yards?Any info would be highly appreciated.

Aarmr is a 12 fpe AR.
It delivered max 676 fps with 12 grs.Unitedshot RH pellet.

Some posts on the forum would like us to believe that the Aarmr puts out about 20fpe and shoots atleast to 100 yards accurately and that the best pellets for this "powerful/magnum" air rifle are the 20+ grain ones
But then again these claims are to be taken with a bucket of salt.

Can anyone please tell me the current velocity and muzzle energy of hurricane mod 15 ( new version ). ? and which one is more powerful the new version or the previous version

i have huricaine mod 16 six months before i found this gun powerful but balance of this air rifle in not good & it is very difficult to shoot off hand due to hard recoil & vibrations can any one specially gnv sir advice me what should i do to overcome vibrations & recoil i am ready to loose some power at the cost of accuracy

Nx100 Polaris the best rialy good accuracy & light weight nice look extra ...precipell pallets best good results...
