Searched a lot in Chennai for IHP 35 .22 calibre. Most of the dealers are quoting too high prices. A few who are quoting high prices are:

Tamilnadu Armoury
Seems to be worst of all. When contacted over phone, he asked to come in person and when I went to see him after spending 1/2Hr in traffic this was the price he had to offer:
IHP 35 .22 Cal : Rs. 5000 !!!!!!
I ask all TN people to boycott this guy.

Apollo Armoury and Hindustan Sports and Armoury(They are distributors in TN for IHP)
IHP 35 .22 cal : Rs 5000 !!!
IHP 25 .22 cal : Rs 4500 !!!

Pandian Armoury
Pandian Street,
Sankaran Avenue,
VELACHERY
CHENNAI - 600042
TAMILNADU
This guy also asked to see in person. But I expect same response as Tamilnadu Armoury, otherwise what is the logic in asking to see in person. Place is far from my place so I have decided not to go.

Other guy
Banduk Bhandar
Sahkari Bazar,
Gandhi Hall Campus
Indore - 452007

Quoted it as 3800 + freight charges.

So bottom line is after my research I could not find a single dealer in Chennai who quotes correct price.

So I have ordered it from aimco. I spoke over phone to them. The guy who answered me was a good communicator and spoke very politely. He explained everything and seemed in no hurry to put off the receiver as most of other people did. IHP 35 .22 will cost me 3700(including VAT and packaging) + freight. So in effect it will cost me more than 4000/- but I do not regret as price he is quoting for all the products are very very reasonable and I morally support him for sticking to MRP. I feel JoyBiswas is doing a fabulous job both in customer service and variety he has at his website www.aimco.in
I also ordered from him .22 pallets and one Pepper spray(for my relative's daughter).

I'll once again post back when I receive my IHP 35 .22

Till then
Good bye

Most of them quote exorbitent prices for the IHP, In lucknow the authorized dealer quoted 5500 for IHP 35.
I orered it for my younger brother from Aimco itslef, they are honest and very professional, Highly recommended.

Sure I'll do once I receive it. :-)
I have ordered UNITED shot pointed pellets.
I got advice from other IFG member from Chennai that GSmith are not suitable for Indian made guns as they tight fit and do not go far.

Cheers....!!

Hi Guyz,

I received my IHP 35 .22 from Aimco today !!!!!!!!
Really excited. It was perfectly packed in a wooden box.
Fired one shot from 5-6 mtrs at Pepsi bottle to check power. It passed through it and made a small dent in the wooden door...

United pellets also fit well in the gun....
Thanks to AIMCO.... some small error happened in transaction with AIMCO while making payments through credit card...AIMCO people are sorting it out with paypal. Otherwise hasslefree delivery at door...

Cheers!!!
