Hello Happy :D ,

http://www.gunandgame.com/forums/22-rim ... r-hw7.html

There are many "happy" owners of Arminius. I myself am going to go for .32 calibre. There was a lot of discussion about the quality of the Weirauch Arminius some time back , you can check it out. Whats the condition of the piece?

best ,

RP.

Happy :D ,

People have paid anything between 1 L to 1.75 L for a .32 HW3 7 shot snubbie . The longer barrel version is a few thousand cheaper !!! :o
The .22 version should be definitely cheaper. Personally speaking a mint piece , minimally used .32 HW3 would be 1.25 to 1.35L.
Does this .22 piece have a alloy frame or a steel frame? How much is this guy asking ?

best,

RP

Happy :D ,

Alloy versions can give you the heavy "steel feel" too. Best way is to test with a magnet . It might sound funny here but it really helps. I carry my PDA in a belt pouch which has a magnetic flap. Comes in handy  I really checked "my would be HW3" with it.

A close friend of mine bought a mint S&W .22 for 2.5L , now thats a good sized baby with a great feel about it , 6 shots though.

But Happy , 1.95L is not a "happy" price for a Arminius .22. Have you considered that it could have been reblued???

If you really really like it, go for it if you want. Like in Punjab they say " SHAUK DA KOI MUL NAHI " !!! Right penpusher bhaji? ( translated : hobbies should not be governed by money)

I must be a penny pinching so and so because I will NEVER pay such prices. That .22 should be for not more than 90,000/-.No dealer is going to buy it for more than 80-85,000/-

"There is no demand for .22 revolvers sir.People want to buy a .32.You can leave it with me and I will see if I can find a buyer for it for 80,000/-.Good god,you paid 90,000/- for it  .Chalo, shouk da koi mull nahi"

Happy :D ,

By good I think you mean the condition . Well , it all depends upon the make of .22. For example H&R, Arminius etc would be around 80-90K. Price goes significantly up with a Ruger or a S&W ( till 2.5L) . A spare magnum cylinder along with, would sky rocket the price. :x

Over the weekend I heard "interesting pricing" of stuff available here :-

1. CZ .25 ACP 80% condition for 1.70L
2. Llama .380 , 90% condition for 2.80 L.
