Gentlemen.
I have a W&S Proprietary Model, produced in 1929.Screw Grip top fastener,26"barrels,ejector.I understand these guns was later called mod 400.There was also a model 500,with much the same features. How can you tell them apart? In my catalouges, the mod 400(Grade 3) is without any engraving at all,my gun has some light engraving around the action pins, and also on the toplever, and fences. By the way, mine is marked "W.C.Scott & Sons".Thanks
