Hello fellow members I wanted to know that is iof pag comes under sbbl license because I have applied for it. Thanks .

Yes, the pump action shotgun comes under single barrel breech loading category. DBBL is for two barrels and SBBL for one.

There are no separate licenses for single barrelled guns. You get a license for a shotgun. Upon purchase, this will be entered on your license book as an SBBL gun.

While filling the form for 12bore license one should mention dbbl/ sbbl ,then you can buy either , from my personal experience I can tell you that if sbbl was not mentioned on my license the arms office in my state would not have endorsed the pag on my license , whether this is as per arms act or not is not well understood by the baby's.

This comes under "" SHOTGUN "" category of fire arms. It is called "" GUN'' because of the smooth bore barrel . It my be Single , Double or Triple or any number of barrells. Smooth barrel weapons are '' GUNS "". If it is designed to fire a Cartidge, 12, 16, 20 or410 bore , it is a "" SHOTGUN "".

I am talking about the practical aspect of it , unless you have dbbl/ sbbl written on your license there could be a problem in getting a pag endorsed

Since pag is a new concept in India they should put it as PAG in the licence

Maybe a new concept for you, but not new in India. Don't forget that all kinds of guns were being imported into India till 1986, and this included pump action, bolt action and every other type of shotgun you can possibly imagine.
