I have purchased old IOF .12 Bore Dbbl Gun. But I don't know how to check manufacturing year because manufacturing year is not mentioned on it. Someone please help.

Sorry i did not take pics of barrell & proof testing at that time and my friend do not use smart phone so no chance of getting

Thank you for your Photos. Your IOF DBBL is a post 1980 model. Before 1980 the IOF DBBLs had lines on them .So many will call them as Lining model. But anyway you have got a safe , durable weapon. It is and easy to obtain spares and service this weapon throughout India.

By all means you have a good reliable weapon which lacks only a brand value. It is the workhorse of the entire Indian Forest departments , Armed forces , and police in the shotgun category. It is a tank in disguise.
