Hi guys,

I have been away a few weeks. The cops sent me a notice asking me to deposit the revolver until the elections are over. So, my revolver is cooling its heels at a gun store. After the elections, I will get back the gun and post a photo of the rifling. No problems with the revolver so far. I have shot about three dozen rounds at the KSRA ranges with it.

Did the accuracy improve between the time you shot it in my presence and you depositing the revolver?

I have shot a few rounds with it after my meeting with you. I seem to be shooting better with it now. The revolver likes Magtech rounds issued at KSRA.

It can be done in your home town ,,but it is not recommended as it will void the Warranty.

Personally I don't like the Nickle look and it is not very durable too. Internal rusting of the metal will go unnoticed if you do this.

Opensight,
How much does the KSRA charge per Magtech .32 rev round ?
And
What is the accuracy / grouping of your shots with the IOF Rev with Magtech ammo ?

You mean to say IOF .32 revolver throws all kind of ammo with spraying tendency ?

Well that's what I wanna know... what happens when Magtech is fired....

With our most reputed KF ammo, it does give a generous spray...all over the place... 12"

I've recently switched to Magtech but still haven't fired it...

If someone is gettings 12" groups there is a possibility the shooter isn't doing too well either?

olly,

KSRA charges Rs.25/- per round for Magtech ammunition. The sad part is that they ration the rounds.

When I started shooting with the 32 IOF revolver, I found it difficult to get decent groupings, probably due to flinching. I started using ear mufflers and my groups improved. Last sunday, I shot a 3 inch group of 5 bullets using Magtech rounds. This was done at approx 10 to 12 metres distance from target, with both hands gripping the gun and after cocking the trigger with the thumb ("single action" am I right?).
I tried to upload photos of my groupings with my revolver as well as the IOF 22 rifle I own. I am unable
to upload the photos. I will put up the photos as soon as I figure out how to do so.

BTW, I was aiming at the centre of the centrefire target and found that the revolver shoots approximately 2 - 3 inches lower than point of aim.
