Are there separate licenses issued for calibers and actions? I remember reading here somewhere that PB license holders could go for a MP5 or something.Drameenkitekar wrote: ↑Tue Feb 16, 2021 11:20 amI think Civilians are given PB caliber licenses but PB actions ???partheus wrote:Just out of curiosity, can civilians with a PB license purchase the CZ carbines and rifles that CMTPL is going to make?

If you have PB license you can buy a gun from CMTPL subject to written permission from ministry of home affairs .partheus wrote: ↑Tue Feb 16, 2021 11:35 amAre there separate licenses issued for calibers and actions? License for PB weapons can not be issued to anyone. Full auto weapons come under this category.
9mm pistols and semi auto rifles comes under Restricted license category. A semi auto rifle purchased on Restricted license should not have brust mode selector switch.

I think they mentioned 2021 by mistake, they actually meant March 2121asifalikhanasif wrote: ↑Thu Dec 10, 2020 5:52 pmGlock CMTPL has deleted word Q1 from their website, clearly indicates that they are not going to fulfill their promise by delivering Glocks in March-2021.

Glock has stopped expression of interest forms those who have filled the form will get first preference . Those who want to book will now have to wait for the expression to begin again .

Re: A new baby born... Made in India Glock?
I have expressed my interest in CMT Glock 31 (.357). I want to know whether I can buy only Glock 31 or I can choose other model instead of Glock 31. I have some concerns regarding availability of the ammo in India. Please reply, if u have some info on that.sourabhsangale wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 9:23 pmGlock has stopped expression of interest forms those who have filled the form will get first preference . Don't think anybody would have correct answer to it, they must have done the expression of interest to gauge the demand in the market so that they can produce the highest demand weapons first.

i think CMT has still not finalised the " commission" aspect of the deal with TN politicians. To me it can be the only reason for delay. we can still wait till we turn 60. after that it becomes bit tough to get licence for guns.
