Glocks are very reliable but they have a lot of recoil in the bigger calibers

If you can, go for a 9mm

Glock, Beretta etc is still a dream for Indians. Once I Heard that one desert eagle was sold in Punjab in approx 45 Lakhs. Don't Know its fact or Not.

It’s so unfortunate because some of the best people who deserve to have firearms are Based in India

Any politicians / law makers in this forum ?

Desert Eagle is not Prohibited in India.
PB is dependent on the Bore not the Brand/Make.
Though it might be very very difficult to find a Desert Eagle in India.
This Pistol is chambered for very powerful cartridges,
The smallest probably being a .357.
(Desert Eagle is One of the few Pistols chambered for a .357 Magnum).

Regards,
Jr.

Hi. The desert eagle comes in various chambers. The most popular I have seen are 9mm known as baby eagle and the other is .50 cal.

Amazing guns

Yes u can buy Glock pistols in India , but it’s very hard to get npb license in India only officials of armed forces and police forces can apply for it or vip officials ( MS Dhoni owns a Glock 17 9mm)

They are asking needlessly personal details such as your license number, Aadhar card details, etc. Why would anyone want to give such details online to a little known entity?

Nobody will give copy of their arms licence ....and atleast to them who themselves dont have the licence (manufacture)

My personal belief on this , and every one is welcome to come back and remind me if I am wrong [emoji3]

But this seems to be just a lot of noise and hype.

The more realistic ones are Taurus coming into India , at least their tie up is with relevant company and reputed manufacturing background

Here's an article in a Brazilian news site about the Taurus Jindal initiative...

http://www.defesanet.com.br/bid/noticia ... -na-India/

Just use the translate feature in Chrome to read it in English. The article states that products intended for civilians in India will be branded as "Taurus" while those for the military will go as "Taurus-Jindal".

The one year estimate was before coronavirus came along. I think we can safely assume this is going to take a while...
