Disinfection / sanitisation of Pistols

Greetings all members
I hope you are safe and following the Govt. safety guidelines for COVID19.
Just want to know that is there any way to sanitize or disinfection process that can performed on IOF Pistol.

Just leave it in the hot sun for half an hour and your pistol is sanitized. This may sound funny. but its true.Your pistol is pure and pristine.
