I just got in touch with one of the dealers of Malhotrasons. Hari Singh Jagdish Singh in Ghaziabad. They are quoting the price of guardian 1911 upwards of 7 lakhs. Yes you read correct more than 700k
No one will buy malhotra at such insane prices.
Just wait for some time, Nanda Arms Corp. launching their .30 Bore Pistol with 14 Rounds double stack magazine in April 2022 in just 2.5 L.
I came across their website (its mostly template), looks like they are collaborating with Baikal.. any idea if they will be manufacturing here in India or importing..

😂😂😂😂. But jokes apart the government has given a great opportunity to private gun manufacturers, they shouldn’t misuse it by quoting such prices. They should focus on quality and performance.

i had a talk with the master dealer today and he said it will be around 4.5lakhs with a variation of around 25000 either side. another model that can be customized will also be there for around 7.5lakhs. first lot is already booked by 4-5 of their dealers and he will only be able to sell to retail customer in March 2022.

Hello Mr. Vineet,

Two of my followers called MSD and talked to the DIrector who said 3.5L is NOT the final price.

Final price will be around 5L including 28% GST on 3.5L base price and dealer fees.
Five lacs is a loot, no one will buy at this price. Also there are many companies coming in next couple of years, so they will get though competiton in the market.

The Indian market is starved and parched and prices are highly inflated due to non availability which is the result of the Import Ban in force . While it is encouraging to see that more players are coming in but sadly they are exploiting the consumer knowing well what one pays today for an imported and reliable firearm. I wish the manufacturers join hands and support RKBA . They should push for licensing reforms by helping organisations like NAGRI . Every manufacturer of firearm & even accessories makers like holsters etc sells their goods with a leaflet to support and join NRA. The game and money is in numbers and turnover and not in extracting a pound of flesh and slaying the golden egg laying goose . All manufacturers must keep prices reasonable and push government to make gun laws logical and reasonable otherwise the party will not last very long .

Malhotras won’t be able to find many buyers. At 1.85 lac, there are not many buyers for Indian Webley revolvers.

Vineet ji what about .45 ammo? I think each pop goes above 200 rs and it's not available at all dealers.

Import of ammo hasn’t come from last two years so current price is around Rs. 300 each and will go up if import doesn’t come in.
