Congrats Sudhanshu-
Has the profile of a Colt Covt 1911, but innards seem to be the browning officers spl 32. Hope you learnt to dis assemble it? ;)

Congratulations on your new acquisition Sudhanshu! From the photos it seems to be in very good condition :)

For field stripping instructions for your particular pistol, check out - http://www.gunsworld.com/assembly/unique_ass_us.htm

NOTE: While field stripping does not require any tools, DO NOT try a complete strip unless you have the right tools handy or you may mar the finish... or worse...

Cheers!

Hi,

yes i still need to learn "how to field strip the gun". I got the basic training on how to clean and store the gun.

Would require help from all of you regarding the cleaning and storing the gun and what all accesories should i have for doing the same. as my father also owns Webley Revolver and Colt pistol, i can than be able to to basic servicing of all the three guns.

cheers
