New vs Old 315 rifle
I am going to buy 315 rifle..but i want help should i buy new or old one..in punjab price of old 315 rifle is higher than new one and it is said that the old ones (below 1990 model) are better than the new rifles..please suggest me which one is better

Hi Kamalsidhu007,
You are right to some extent, the older 0.315” rifles with 4 digit serial numbers are considered of good quality, the loading and extraction of cartridges is quite smooth in those rifles, my uncle has a 0.315” 1975 model it’s a pleasure to shoot, in my opinion go for a new iof .30-06” you will at least have better options regarding choice of ammunition and scope mounting options.
