Beautiful Germanic engraving and a very welcome combo - hat tip to the old girl. Tell us more, Herb

Nice
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their consciences.

Herb, that is an incredibly lovely piece of art! Thanks for sharing it with us. The slimness of those 16 ga barrels really shines here!

Herb,
You are a man of taste. That's a lovely gun in superb condition. Have you tried the 9.3X72R? How is it? Thanks for sharing the photos.

I think the gun is made in 1920's. The barrels are nitro proofed, the 16 ga barrels are 2.5" chambers. Nice balance for a drilling as most of them that I have handled are muzzle heavy due to the heavy barrels. The rifle selector connects the right hammer to the lower rifle barrel and flips up the rear sight, a cool setup.

Thanks Vikram. I have tried it, a nice caliber for deer sized game at short to medium range. Not in the same league as the 9.3x74R which could be used for soft skinned DG.
