Dear Mr. Vineet

Can you provide an idea about the scenario of imports and availability of ammunition at right prices if one is not in a hurry ? What are the predictions related to availability and price of ammunition in dealership world ? Thanks in advance.
Regards
Sandhu

Thanks for your replies ,
Well the scenario is not very positive. But let’s hope for something good and may good comes to us. I don’t have high hopes from IOF as ammo quality is not very good . The main plus point of 30 rifle was availability of imported and better ballistic ammo at reasonable prices. I wonder what would be the scenario of ammo after .45 pistols are launched?

Nice.I had 5 3006 cartridges made by IOF.IOF used to make 3006 cartridges 30,40 years ago.
I fired them without any issue and these cartridges seated better in chamber, bolt closed easily and cycled good better then S&B.
regards

I don’t think IOF made .30-06 ammo 30-40 years back. IOF manufactured these in 2007-2008 when they launched IOF .30-06 rifle.

IOF did manufacture 3006 ammunition about 40 years back. This was for the WWII surplus bolt action 3006 on the Enfield P14 action and the M1 Garand which some of the Paramilitary forces and the State Armed Polices were issued with. Some ammo was given to Arms dealers as well.

Thanks for your reply. I've asked them they do have 8 bore empties of KF. Sharing some photos of it.
This is a thread on 30-06.
Not shotgun cartridge collection.
Please start another new post/thread on your 8ga cartridges etc.

If anyone has used the Dacca liberation 30-06, its Lake City manufactured. Almost match quality.
I’ve used it in the .30-06 P14 ‘Hyderabad Rifles ‘ as they were called, and clapped out BSA. Very solid performance
