1. I dont think anyone makes .315 ammo other than IOF.
2. Lighter fluid, Kerosene or high octane gas are excellent for cleaning.

I am not familiar with "browning 30-06" rifle. IOF 30-06 rifle has also got good reviews from many members in this forum. But there is no doubt about 30-06 cartridge, that it is a very versatile cartridge created to shoot up to distances of about 1 kilometer. There is no problem about availability of 30-06 cartridges(imported as well as IOF)

As I understand you got a particular bore( .315 rifle) endorsed in your license. You could have got NPB rifle/shotgun endorsed instead. That would have given you a broader choice of firearms you could purchase instead of only .315. AFAIK there is no manufacturer in the world manufacturing .315 rifle or .315 ammunition except our glorious IOF. So practically your choice is very limited to IOF .315 rifle unless you get some old .315 rifle of some other manufacturer.

Yeah don't point it towards yourself and look down the barrel to check if its empty. The looks improve drastically when you buy something else. And when you stop using short messaging lingo.

I think you will need to read Dev's message again, specially last line. Stop typing "you" as "u". Its called SMS language and its not allowed here.

Aman,

Take your rifle to Bobby Siddhu in Patiala, if I am not mistaken. He can add an inbuilt magazine, polish the bolt and slick the action, make the wood look great and actually make your rifle look like a winchester. But he is expensive though.

Regards,

Dev

Browning 30-06.:

is it an x-bolt or an A-bolt.?

How were you able to get one in India?

People might tell you Brownings dont make good rifles but they are accurate and good. Considering you get what you pay for, they are very good value for money.
Ive personally shot brownings with good results (unmodified).

Dear Deepak: :cpix: I like what you have done with the IOF.

Deepak, having been deprived of guns for a wholo generation, we Indian gun owners cant take shocks like yours more than once a week!
Great work on the 22 IOF, the FN 7.9 and now this.
Why didnt you consider a no drilling/tapping type mounts which sits on the safety , like this one:

Keep up the good work, i hope IFG members benefit from your work.
