Accuracy in iof .22 rifle differ from rifle to rifle.I would advise you to fire and check accuracy before purchasing.

I have used two rifles, one 2008 and other 2009 model, they both shot about 5 inches away from point of aim. Now I own 2013 model and it is super accurate and I am very happy with it.

So check accuracy before buying and if not accurate change the piece and try again. Sometimes there is misfire and ejection problem too, check for that also.

Actually, .22lr rifles are finicky about ammunition. Some rifles shoot well with certain ammunition. What one could do is, if possible, shoot with different brands of ammunition and see which one the rifle likes. Also, one should zero a rifle to one's shooting style.
