IFG Poster of the Month - Sept 2011

Post by mundaire » Mon Oct 24, 2011 1:59 pm

On behalf of the entire IFG team, I'm happy to announce the winner of the IFG Poster of the Month Award for September 2011.

This announcement should have been made a couple of weeks back, but I was caught up with a few things (and also wanted to wait for the prize to get here before making the announcement ;) ).

I can tell you that choosing the winner was not an easy task this time! What finally swung things was the winner's ability to generate a lively debate which attracted great posts by some very knowledgeable members here. :)

AND THE WINNER IS:

Moin for initiating the thread "Buying Knives and other sharp n shiny objects in Rajasthan".

Moin wins a Diamond pocket knife/ hook sharpener:

Cheers!

P.S. - If you wish to nominate any member for next month's award, please mail webmaster [at] indiansforguns [dot] com with the user ID of the member as well as the post you are nominating him for. Looking forward to another close contest next month! :D

A big thank you to veteran members like Katanaji and Rajat for their valuable insights and sharing of information which specially on this subject matter is so hard to find...(I'm not sharing this sharpener with either of them  )

Thanks for adding to my knowledge about edged weapons and for your contribution to the board, Moin. I think your being named poster of the month was very well deserved.

Gentlemen, I've received the sharpener today, it's a very good compliment to my Lansky Sharpening kit.

It's great for sharpening serrations which I was unable to do till date. :D Loved it.

Thank You very much.

Regards
Moin.
