Nice collection there and thanks for the pics.

However, have any of you noticed something very odd?

Hint: The guns are in the U.S. and are missing something.

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the great pics.Am back after a frustrating try at trying to unlock and down load pics from my digicam-damn infernal device was used to down load the pics into a comp in usa a few days ago and now it refuses to download via cable or via a card reader.Though the pics are thankfully viewable in the camera
Thought i could post some action pics of me shooting some neat stuff ...how does the calico shoot and what caliber is it in.Good to see the M1.I have a ppk/s in 22-wanna swap?

The Calico is a .22 with a 100 round drum magazine, hasn't been shot yet by Doug or me.

All the WWII guns (1903A3, Enfield, M1 Carbine, etc.) are used for re-enactment purposes which is why there is no scope on them.

The newer ones (AR-15, SAR-48, Calico, etc.) have been recently procured by him, no modifications/accessories yet.

I have a scope on my 10/22 (far left by the synthetic pump) but it is a simple $15 scope that I picked up at Walmart.

Naren,

Use those service rifles for service rifle matches - you always have them at various clubs though you might find the ammunition more expensive than the guns themselves. That said, they are real fun and a good test of shooting skills.

I have been offered a Lebel rifle in mint condition (yes, I've heard the jokes about them being fired twice before the soldier surrendered  ) for the princely sum of $ 40 but a box of ammunition costs almost as much as the rifle itself.

Good selection of guns.

Cheers,

Mehul

Yes Asif, I just looked at the rifle again and it is in fact a Charter Arms AR-7 Explorer.

Thanks for the advice Mehul. I am joining a new club here in NH and will see what events they have.

Once you have uploaded the image from your computer to the hosting site, say Photobucket, select and copy the image url. Then on your IFG post select 'IMG', paste the pic and select IMG again and Bob's your uncle.

Unless your post is on the lines of Vikram's, I suggest you paste a URL rather than the IMG as it takes up less bandwidth.
