Barbeque at Hyderabad Range

Post by HydNawab » Sat Oct 24, 2009 7:03 pm

Hi Guys

Had a lovely barbeque at the range today. People present were, Darius Chenai, Raj Gopal Reddy, Rahul Rao, Subir Singh, Vicky, Berty Uncle, Khurram Ansari, Wasif Hasan, Ayyappa, PK Jeetesh, Marcus Campos, Gautam Gianchandani, Faisal Yousufuddin and yours truly.

Had a lovely time today, trying out Darius' FX Verminator and Jeetesh's Benjamin. Gautam nearly burnt down the range, saved the low house just in time. :D

The menu was as follows:

Kulcha roti, Barbeque Chicken, Barbeque Fish, Curd Rice, Double ka meetha, Raspberry cheese cake and soft drinks.

Enjoy the pics.

You seem to have had a nice time but a barbeque at a shooting range

What next? A jagrata or maybe a political rally? Perhaps a cultural show is in order

im not there anywhere...i guess Ashar took those pics when i was out at the 10m air rifle range...missed Gautam's low house shot  ...my hands were itching to have a go with one of those Perazzis, but it would have resulted in the other house also going down too

Great post and pictures folks ... whats up with that smoke? if possible do post pictures of the shotguns and the recipe of the barbeque.

One of these days would like to make it back to twin cities Abids, Marredpally and the eateries ( my class mates Nanking) and brush up on local dialect Kaiku etc was pretty good at it spend some great years there.

cheers

Should I be?

If it is a personal range belonging to any of the revelers, pardon my remarks, but if it belongs to a club or association that is open to other members then don't expect me to go clapping.

Especially not after this

You guys seem to be on the range itself. If it had been in a club house or away from the range,it is something else.A big thumbs down from me.That is akin to the Indian cricketers having a party on the pitch. Not done.

We are just poor Hyderabadis who cannot afford a club house at the range Winnie. For us the range is a place to where all gun enthusiasts can get together and have some fun. What more can one ask for? Good guns, great food, lovely people and some fun shooting.

The bottom line is that we had a great time and hopefully we will have another get together at the range soon. If the Indian cricket team can organize parties on the pitch, Im sure they would perform much better.

Will put up pictures of the Perazzis and the Berettas next week.

Cheers
