OK, it is from a 2003 film- "SPORTSMEN on FILM- LEOPARD CHARGE". A search of that will bring more information but apparently the cat was killed with a rifle and not a shotgun.

Looks like a revolver to me. I'd guess the leopard had been wounded and in wait while the hunter was following up for the killing shot. Certainly more guts than brains.

Jesus lucky guy but nevertheless stupid act...lucky after surviving the cat he wasnt injured by his so called friends
