[REVIEW] CombatForce M92F Airsoft Springer Pistol

Post by estousandy » Sun Dec 15, 2013 7:01 pm

This is for those folks who are interested to have a 'simple high quality BB springer' which has an acceptable life expectancy. Whatever is available in country now is nowhere close to those parameters.

Shown here is the Semi-alloy YUE GE YER Combat Force BB M92FS Springer Pistol, which from how it sounds is equivalent to any no-name make. But this one is different. If not abused like crazy, it has the potential for a long life. Took some 200 shots already & is only getting better. Accuracy at 10mtrs with 0.2g BBs is acceptable. Construction is 40% metal & 60% plastic. That said, all vital parts are metal.

Ordered from HK based fasttech.com (free shipping to India), it came to me in 20 days flat without customs interception. I chose it coz it was the only good looking piece in their list & mentioned aluminium instead of the usual zinc alloy along with a name not starting with 'Galaxy' or 'G'!

The ABS mag is weighty with metal blocks inside & is comfortable with 15 BBs & might double feed after 17. Unjamming is a cakewalk though.
Image

Slide, frame, outter barrel & the release pin (springed one) are very tough ABS plastic similar to the ones found in old panasonic tape shells. It twists rather than break. Patterned grip plates are alloy including the mag catch assembly & locking pin .
Image

Alloy spring guide & piston
Image

Full alloy trigger assembly (Trigger, connecting piece, piston lock & fittings). The whole unit is pretty deep & goes almost half way into the mag well.
Image

Working metal hammer with single action operation.
Image

Aluminium inner barrel.
Image

A working safety in place of slide lock. This is an aluminium piece. Mine is over oiled, thus all the dust there.
Image

The feel is pretty realistic with almost half a kilo heft & sits snug in hand. The sound is twack & doesn't feel like its gonna break next time. There is nothing much to easily break in there & is totally worth every penny spent. I might go for one more just for the kicks!

I paid 20$ & nothing more.
TMs are very good, but i dont know much about the metal content in its internals especially for their low price springers. They are more accurate though. Also, ehobbyasia has a fat shipping charge to India citing customs thing. Fasttech has got free worldwide shipping in saying, although they include some in the item price.

Disassembled & lubed the springer today. The same treatment i give to my ARs: moly, tar & green slime. Cocking & shooting are very slick now.

For 20$, this is exceptionally well built.

Added a 20mm short rail lying around, so the M9 is now kinda M9A1 spec. The quick detachable flashlight suits just right on this that the shorty.

After looking at these cool photos I thought of ordering one now. But seems I am not that lucky, this and many others are discontinued. Would any one know how to order one without running into customs issues
