Legality of importing swords

Post by Throwaway64 » Tue Nov 01, 2022 10:56 pm

i wanted to import a blade which is greater than 9 inches in length, i looked into the legality of this and saw that only people belonging to a particular religious group can own said item(s). I happen to be of that religious group, will there be any problem with customs/legal repercussions of storing this item in my house without owning an arms permit? If required how will i give proof of my religious background?

The non sharp/ Blunt blades can be imported as a show piece/ Decorative items or for use in movie and theaters. There are few Exporters and importers of Blades who used to do this. The religious point is a matter which can be better advised by some legal experts or Senior members.

What about sharp blades? And I’m more concerned about the item clearing customs, can there be any problems?
