Brihaji, Victorinox stopped making the kirpan at its plant years ago. It only markets the kirpan now.
The knife is made by Muela in Spain, probably because it keeps costs low.

I am possibly one of those lucky ones who have the original Swiss kirpan from the very first batch. It looks similar but carries the Vic brand name.
I have the small one while my cousin has the big one that ran into a storm for two inscripted lines from the Guru Granth Sahib.
Sikh religious leaders did not approve of this initially.

This is nice blade. Congrats Amarpreet.

I have two of these small Muela kirpans. While doing some research I found that the small kirpan blade is very similar to the Muela skinner knife below:

Also, I have noticed similarity between the large kirpan and the Muela Apache:

Briha sir, I agree Victorinox Kripan is misleading. It is a muela imported by Victorinox India.

Brihaji, calling them Kirpans may not be fair even though the blade shapes may be similar.
The Kirpans come with religious inscriptions.

I really think that I love to keep it for my everyday carry to outdoors and show it to my friends and all who appreciates me for getting this antique knife.

There are very good knives ans accessories available at the Gopi Nath Bazar (I think that was the old name) but its still famous by that name, in Delhi Cantt.
There is a large collection of shops selling these stuff besides army stuff and camping gear at very very reasonable rates.

Wow, A nice fixed blade knife. Is this made by Muela or Victorinox?
