Some more photos of this knife in the making
This is the blade after forging and two normalisation cycles. The shoulders for the guard and tang have also been filed. After this the filing of bevels was done All the parts of the knife ready to be assembled @pistolero - I believe en31 is also designated as 100cr6. The main issue I am facing is getting the steel in suitable thickness. The en31 I have got right now came as a flat bar 150mm×50mm×6mm. It would be great if you can guide me where I can get steel like en31 or 440C with lesser thickness like 3mm or 4mm
