I have purchsed a laser boresigher by Bushnell from Shri. Rafiq Yusuf of Mumbai. The deal concluded nicely; but the sighter is not use-able at day time., as the beam can`t penetrate sun light even at evenning and is not possble to find a long distance such as 100 mtrs. fully shaded or darkend range, so it is not handy at firing range for fine tunning after a shot fired.Therefore non laser manual sighter is better in my opinion.

A laser boresighter or a collimator for that matter only does the job of getting your rifle's point of impact on the paper at reasonable sight-in distances, say for example 50-75 yards, after that the fine tuning, whether scope or iron sights will get you to your desired point of impact. I have a laser boresighter too, the in-the-chamber type and covers a very wide range of calibers, the Bushnell you have I'm guessing is the one which you have to stick into the muzzle end and sight-in the rifle. Make sure the batteries are fresh and sight-in the rifle indoors at about 18-20 feet bringing the scope's crosshair to bear either a half-inch above the laser dot or directly onto the dot if you please. Remember that this will only get you on the paper when you're sighting-in with live ammo in most cases and not necessarily bang on target. Also, dont forget to remove the boresighter before going to the range!!! There are some bad, bad examples of what has happened to people who've boresighted their rifles at the range and conveniently forgotten to remove the device from the muzzle and BANG!! new barrel..at best, at worst, shooter's funeral the next day!

The bullet, or pellet, drops after it leaves the muzzle. So adjust the scope crosshairs an inch or two below the boresighter crosshairs, to get you on point of aim, or slightly above. Cheers.

If you want to see your laser's "spot" outdoors at any distance, you would need a laser reflective target. They are sold in some sporting goods stores. They are also sold in home improvement stores or stores that specialize in laser equipment. I was out with a friend a few weeks ago and he was trying to zero the sights on an SKS with a Bushnell laser boresighter (red laser). He hung the target on the paper and got the sights reasonably aligned before he attempted to fine tune it. The target really glowed at 50yds and was still visible at 100 yds in bright daylight.

I found a video where they go over the laser bore sighting process.
If I was going to spend the money on a guided hunt, I personally, would have verified my shots on paper after boresighting.

Hi whenever sighting rifles with boresighters always use ammo to confirm ur sights,if you are changin ammo from 1 make to another your gun will shoot a little out depending on the diffrence of the MV.so always let loose a cpl of rounds to be sure

If wants to zero his rifle at his home with very short distance of 20 to 30 feet than all right. but the laser dot is not visible at the range at day time even ar 25 mtrs. and hence one has to zero the fine tunning at range by his own expertise

If that is the case, I would say that you need new batteries or have a seriously underpowered laser. Most laser bore sighters will be visible in bright daylight at over 25 meters and even further if you use a laser target.
