Fighting wet weather

Hey Gun Guys,
Monsoon's pretty much around and the best bet against wet weather and humidity is WAX and not oil. An ordinary car wax will protect your dear and valuable arms a lot better then any oils. Please take care not to apply the car wax premixed with rubbing compound or else it'll play havoc with the bluing or what ever. The method is to apply wax coat liberally to all metal parts and either leave it looking dull or polish it away with a soft cloth to sheen. Both methods will protect your guns in direct drizzle as well as against humidity indoors. It has worked for me from the times when fancy gun protective stuffs were unheard of in India except the thick Rangoon oil and gud ole 3 in one.
