.22 bore adaptors

Post by R-Dhillon » Thu Sep 04, 2008 3:06 pm

Hi everyone,
I have a spare .22 air rifle barrel(its rifled) and two snap caps with me...I was thinking if I could remove the spring from the conventors and screw in the barrel of the .22, then I think I could fire .22 rounds from dad's shotgun??...
Regards,
R.Dhillon...

But icemanV I guess barrels of different calibers can be endorsed with the same gun on license...all I need is a bill from a gun manufacturer...thats what I think...Seniors please correct me if I'm wrong...

Kid you maynot live to be a wise man if you try this. As air rifle barrels use a different steel than a firearm barrel. Plus this is illegal activity.
Only an armoury can do what you are talking about.

Please refrain from writing this without reading about the gun laws. I know you are young and enthu so I'll excuse you this time.

It (such posts) could even jeopardise your posting ability on this forum...
