Re: Pistol Grip in Silver
No problem at all, and not very difficult to make either. I have seen a jeweler's (TBZ) PPK with solid gold grips. He offered to make one for my PPK/S as well but I declined politely. It should look neat if the pistol is fully chrome or in S.S. Please do post the pics if you go through this exercise.

Re: Pistol Grip in Silver
no matter what material you choose for the grip of your weapon just go throu this
a- the actual purpose, a proper firm grip (does it or will it give u in a nightmare situation, your hands are goin to prespire and shiver when you point a gun at anybody in a real situation no matter how used to you are)
b- maintainance (silver turns black dear)
c- silver also wears out fast
in my openion wood is the best at the most a becalite grip

yes
silver turns black soon .you have to give for cleaning to goldsmith every month.
go for walnut or ivory grips.
