Um...... yeah. Glad I`m not the only one that`s confused. I introduced the subject of the .240 H&H Mehul, just saying that it also produced more recoil than I expected. Anyway: The .240 I referred to was a .240 H&H Flanged Nitro Express Mack The Knife. Whether that is also referred to as the .240 Apex I have no idea. I just mentioned it because it is another H&H cartridge in the same calibre range as the .244.

Wondered if you had a 240 rifle with the same problem as well?

There is a H&H made .240 Apex in Bangalore but I haven't seen it. The owner passed away last December, so I wonder what has happened to it now.

Hi Mehul,

The .240 Apex was for sale whilst the owner was alive. Will check with his son. He (the father, that is) was asking for an outrageous price though.
