Indians For Guns

Hi bro
after reading and seeing photos i notced your stock is bent its not straight.may be old owner have left it barrells up for long time and its got bent kindly correcct me if i am wrong thanks

Looks like the stock may be cast off a little - which is usual for SxS shotguns.
Nowadays most O/U stocks are straight but having to shoot off the right shoulder I invariably find that I need them cast on if I`m going to keep a gun. I once managed to straighten a stock that was cast for centre vision but the process was incredibly stressful ..... both for me and the stock. Never again.
All part of the science of gun fit.......although I reckon the walnut used nowadays has less natural oil in it than formerly which I suspect is due to it being kiln dried. It certainly makes it more difficult to bend. Highly figured wood is rarely kiln dried.

Well spotted! I will sit on it until it straighten's out and henceforth store my long guns with the muzzle down.

i can be a matter of debate.i just noticed and commented i am not a reguler shooter but i have have similer stock made by local mistry .so what it means that gunsmith is best in india for making stocks thanks
