The excellent Ballistol oil

I have just been talking to an expert at Ballistol Germany who informed me that "BALLISTOL DOES NOT HARM NICKELPLATING OR GOLDPLATING" that someone states on this forum.I already knew it but wanted to make sure anyway.I have been using this excellent oil about 50 years now and never had any issues.
